SeekingandFinding.com launched its online community in early 2003 providing a meeting place for those seeking connections based on spiritual or religious affiliations. In January 2005, the website founders determined a site re-launch was the right strategy and began a search for a development firm. Pier 1 Solutions was able to respond to the need immediately and identified that the site re-design would be a major undertaking. Ultimately, the firm decided to become an investor in SeekingandFinding.com, led by a group of close local and international friends in a six-figure investment and has identified other highly suitable affiliates and partnerships.
Prasad Chavali, Chairman and CEO of Pier 1 Solutions, had these words to say. “I didn’t immediately see the match. We were just evaluating the work. But, after a couple of visits with the owners, I quickly realized an opportunity for a business partnership. At that point, I identified a match in two ways. The first is where Pier 1 Solutions would bring key skills as resources. The second match was becoming an investor in something I could believe in – in an area I had not previously considered.” He has also become a Member of the Advisory Board of Seeking and Finding LLC.
The newly re-designed site (scheduled to launch in the Third Quarter 2005) will have more than just a new face and dynamic web interface. The specific skills provided by Pier 1 Solutions will immediately fine tune the functionality by changing the technology to asp.net and implementing dynamic data handling, presenting a more effective way to expand what the website offers.
SeekingandFinding.com provides a meeting place where people of many or various faiths can make connections, whether for friendships or dating. The growth of the website’s personals in the prior months proves that online connections based upon spiritual or religious affiliations are growing worldwide. The website’s Marketplace will become the collaborative focus of businesses, artists, authors, musicians and classifieds directories.
