Pier 1 Solutions
John Achoukian set a goal to create an organization that would make a difference by raising funds to help provide treatment, comfort and compassion to people during their time of crisis. He came to Pier 1 Solutions to help put this concept into a website in order to make a difference in the lives of those touched by illness, disease, or difficulties caused by natural disasters or human conflict and provide many fun and simple ways to help those who are in need.
With Pier 1 Solutions, he was able to create a place online and that creation became johnscharities.org. Launched in April of 2006, johnscharities.org went live and began its mission. The site uses the Pier 1 Solutions Content Management System to allow the client to edit and update content when needed, and to support the Donations feature where visitors can donate to the cause right on the website.
